MG4 EV vs MG4 Urban — two cars, one badge
MG Ireland launched the MG4 EV Urban alongside the existing MG4 EV — not as a facelift of the same car. Urban is front-wheel drive on MG's newer E3 thinking, uses LFP batteries, prioritises price and cabin/boot space, and charges slower on DC. The classic MG4 EV stays rear-wheel drive on the MSP platform that won the awards. If a salesperson shrugs and says “they're the same,” walk the two cars back-to-back.
