Verdict on practicality: Model Y, decisively. This is the Tesla's biggest win. Its 854 L boot is class-leading among EV SUVs — closer to a mid-size estate — and the 117 L frunk adds storage the ID.4 simply doesn't have (the VW has no front trunk).
