The verdict

MyAutoLog is a gorgeous single-vehicle iOS app. If you're a design-conscious iPhone owner with one car and no particular need for Irish-compliance features, it's a genuinely excellent choice — the document attachments alone are a feature odo.ie doesn't match today.

But MyAutoLog is structurally a wrong fit for most Irish households: iOS-only means any Android phone in the house is locked out; 1-vehicle-free means 2-car households need subscription; no Irish-compliance features means the biggest cost category in Irish car ownership (missed renewals) is invisible. odo.ie solves all three of those structural issues on the standard free tier.

For most Irish drivers, odo.ie is the default choice. If you're specifically a one-iPhone-household- one-car user with zero interest in NCT / motor tax / insurance reminders, MyAutoLog might actually be a better fit.
